Our Customized Care area provides 24 hour nursing care for residents who have physical challenges or early dementia symptoms and may require increased assistance in their daily activities for living. It is a service at Thorne Crest that was formerly known as Assisted Living or Assisted Living Plus. Six -one bedroom apartments and two mini efficiency accommodations with a shared bathroom are available within the Customized Care living area.
Customized Care is a service provided under the Housing with Services Contract licensed by the State of Minnesota. Our warm, caring staff is here to assist the resident with any service they may need to maintain their optimum independent lifestyle. Home Health Services include bathing, dressing, housekeeping, and medication dispensing. In addition, we provide three delicious meals a day, transportation and the security of knowing that professional clinical staff is available 24/7 for any emergency or to answer questions or concerns.
Providing peace of mind for the resident and their family is an important priority at Thorne Crest Retirement Community’s Customized Care apartments. We also strive to create an atmosphere that encourages resident social interaction and engagement through a variety of activities and events.
