For those residents requiring long term care, hospice or rehabilitation for either a short or long term stays, Thorne Crest’s Health Care wing offers twenty two private rooms and fourteen semi- private rooms all fully furnished. We take pride in the high quality of care we have built our reputation on and the home-like atmosphere and attention to detail our caregivers provide to every resident. However we believe our mission is more than just the physical care of your loved one. Residents of the health care wing enjoy a variety of events and outings and are encouraged to participate in lifestyle activities designed specifically for them. Our warm, spacious dining room provides the perfect setting for the lunch and dinner meal, with breakfast “made to order” at the resident’s request. And when the Minnesota weather turns warmer, residents enjoy the outdoor patio where they can relax and simply enjoy the sights and sounds of summer with friends and family. Our well appointed lounge provides a comfortable setting to spend some time visiting with friends or even just while away an afternoon a watching a classic film on our widescreen TV.
The Thorne Crest Health Center Wing accepts private funds, long term care insurance, Medical Assistance, Medicare and is fully licensed by The Minnesota Department of Health.
