Directions to Thorne Crest Retirement Community
Albert Lea, Minnesota is at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 90.
Approaching from the North on Interstate 35
- Take Exit 12 to US 65 / Main Street
- Continue to the stop light at Garfield Avenue (look for the Kwik Trip gas station)
- Turn right (north) on Garfield Avenue and drive four blocks to the second stop sign
- You will be at Thorne Crest Retirement Community
- The Health Care wing entrance is on Hawthorne and Garfield
- Drive one half block north on Garfield to reach the Main Entrance to the Apartment Center and Main Office
Approaching from the South on Interstate 35
- Take Exit 11 and turn left (west) onto County 46, which will eventually become US 65 / Main Street.
- Continue to the stop light at Garfield Avenue (look for the Kwik Trip gas station)
- Turn right (north) on Garfield Avenue and drive four blocks to the second stop sign
- You will be at Thorne Crest Retirement Community
- The Health Care wing entrance is on Hawthorne and Garfield
- Drive one half block north on Garfield to reach the Main Entrance to the Apartment Center and Main Office
From Interstate 90
- From either direction on Interstate 90, take Exit 157 to County 22
- Turn south onto Bridge Avenue / County 22.
- Drive to the third stop light on Bridge Avenue, where you'll take a left (east) onto Hawthorne Street.
- Continue two blocks to the stop sign. Thorne Crest will be to your left (north).
- The Main Entrance of the Apartment Center is one half block north on Garfield. The Health Care Wing entrance is on the corner of Hawthorne and Garfield.
