When I first started the Wellness Program I was walking hunched over and leaning heavily on my walker.  I now find myself walking not only straighter, but faster and with bigger steps.  I think the best move we’ve made is to bring this wellness program to Tudor Oaks – I love it!    (Ethel Spencer)

I used to be in the powered chair all the time.  Now I can walk without any aide for approximately 30 minutes at a time.  I still use the chair occasionally for convenience, but I don’t rely on it.  I was amazed at how much my assessment scores improved and I now feel more enthusiastic because of those results!!  I love our instructor!  (Joan Wisniewski)

I think our exercise classes are wonderful!  It’s so good to see such great attendance at the classes.  I feel that I move about and walk better.  Not only my husband, but plenty of others have noticed the improvement in my posture and walking.  (Jean Moore)

I used to go to the Wisconsin Athletic Club and work out on the machines.  I enjoy the classes here at Tudor Oaks much better because they’re fun and there’s so much laughter!  Lisa loves to give us a hard time, but pushes us towards progression.  (Paula Shockey)

Having this program to go to every day gives me something to look forward to.  Having a schedule like I used to at home is a healthy thing.  I see how others have changed too – more outgoing, active, and personable).  In the beginning, many people said that they wouldn’t go to classes because of the mirrors – now look at them!  I was always active before I moved here 4 years ago and this program allows me to preserve my physical function and activity.  Lisa is wonderful!    (June Rolli)

I live well within the limitations and boundaries I have and can’t change.  I exercise 2-3 times daily for 20-25 minutes each time and I bought a computer to keep my mind engaged.   (Warren Clark)

I’ve wanted to get my weight below 200 lbs for many years and after 12 weeks I’ve done that!  I love the classes.  I can come down grouchy and achy and leave feeling energized and happy.  Our instructor puts us in a light-hearted carefree spirit.  It is the best program I have ever been to and we’ve been to a few!
